This is a little late cos I haven't been in posting mood lately and I really have missed loads of stuff!

On the 9th September was my little Emily's second birthday and to celebrate we had a day out on Sunday at Twycross zoo.

No one wanted to come as it had been raining cats and dogs all week long and even as we set out it was completely bucketing it down. Melly's nanny said maybe we should do something else but I insisted we put on our raincoats and wellies and brave it.

I'm glad we did too cos as soon as we got there the sun came out and shined on us all day! we even managed to have a picnic.. I met everyone thought I was crazy packing that!! well HA!

We went to the new tropical house first whic was really cool .. they even had a bat cave you could walk through with bats hanging up above our heads and a sleepy sloth too.

we saw tons of apes and we especially liked the huge gorilla that sat by the window picking his nose.

My favourate animal was the wild cat which was a bit odd cos it just looked like a regular cat except crosser but I do love cats a lot.

The whole place was full of puddles so we were really glad we wore our wellies. we laughed at all the trendy teenagers who had micro shorts and glittery pumps on.




The next Tuesday was Emilys actual birthday and she mainly got a whole world of Peppa pig stuff, including 2 giant Peppa pigs.
I got her a little balance bike and the DVD of Totoro as it is her favourite film (mine too!) but she has only seen it with subtitles and thats no good if you can't read yet!

We went swimming as well on her birthday which was loads of fun but she wasn't so keen on using her armbands and couldn't get the hang of keeping her mouth shut whilst swimming. I don't thing she is as much of a fish as Jim and Jess but they are Pisces and Aquarius and she is a Virgo. I don't even believe in signs but they are always spookily accurate!

so Happy Birthday Melly.. I can't believe you are 2. You kids are really making time go too fast. Stop making me old!!

I really really fancied an Oreo today but when I went to get one they had all GONE!!
There is only one cat I know who could possibly have eaten them all and its not me..

BISCUIT!!!

He looked at me as if biccy's wouldn't melt in his mouth and told me he loved me and even said that I loved Oreo's more than him.

I have forgiven him but I'm not letting on yet..

 Been working on a little project for the girls camp in August. Amber says its a good plan to have a door plaque with your name on and its a chance to get creative. I love little projects like that so I bases my door name on the two conflicting sides of Kittie. 
I am a typical gemini and I have a dark, moody teenage rock chick side and a cute fluffy rainbow girly little side.
The problem is I always want to be both at the same time.. which is a nightmare when dyeing your hair blonde then black then blonde.
So here's the resulting piece:

I had to add.. this picture is a bit weird cos I swear that is my lounge.. we have that exact unit from Ikea with the same tv and we have an easel and the same playmat AND there are toys everywhere so I think someone has been sneaking in and taking cartoon photos of my rooms..

oh wait.. that sofa is well ugly it can't be mine...

 I realised today I really miss having Happy meals. 
 There are a number of reasons I stopped getting them. Firstly, I am now a piscetarian, which means I would be a veggie except I still eat fish, so when I get McD's I always have a fillet of fish. There is a fish finger happy meal but the fish fingers are so dry its quite difficult to actually swallow them. 
 Secondly, Now I have my own kids, if we go to McD's they get a happy meal each. We get a boy one and a girl one so If I was to get a Happy meal also I would just end up with duplicate tat when I can just as easily play with theirs after bedtime. Also they used to have more than one toy on the go at once so you could ask for different toys for different kids. Now you just get what your given.. sometimes they don't even have different boy and girl toys so then your buggered.
 Lastly there is the milkshake.. I'm not sure if they still do this but if you asked for a Milkshake with your HM you got a thimble portion in a cup suitable for a Teddy bears picnic. I'll have a large please.
So their you have it.. no more Happy meals for me. Actually I might just stop having McD's all together as, I don't know about you, but I find the excitement about getting one far outweighs the actual experience itself. 
I'll still have the milkshakes though.. when the *&%$flap&*^% milkshake machine is running.

Because I have just started this blog and you don't know who the hell I am I should do some introductions. I'll start with the cast.

Kittie: Thats me. I am 29. on the outside anyway.
Mat: My significant other. We have been married 6 years (this month!). He is 36 is kind of sensible. I drive him nuts.
Jim John: My little boy. He is a bit odd like me :D
Melly: My oldest Girly. A right handful.
Jellycat: My littlest girly. Still just a baby.
Frank & Beans: My cats. Beans is Ginger and gay. Frank is Grey and grumpy.
Roe: My best friend. Lives ages away but phones me everyday while her dog has a poo.
My Neko family & friends: In Secondlife, Mummy, Daddy, Reo, Amy, Kitty, Damyen and Leo

Everyone else I'll introduce when it comes to it. We are kind of billy no mates at the moment cos we just moved to valley of the grown ups and I can't find any playmates.

My Mat had the day off today, We hoped it would be sunny but it was grey and murky. Because we had to stay indoors we decided to get all the games out of the loft.... there were hundreds! 
We found some boring ones like Risk and Go for broke but I found a game I love called Lost Valley of the Dinosaurs and me and Jim played it for ages. He won.
I keep spending too much time on ebay after finding out about the existence of Pullips, Anime/japanese Barbie style dolls, and now I want one more than anything. I can't decide what one I want though and I can't really afford to customise one at the moment. I am having Monday morning feelings right now.. not sure why cos its the holidays. Mat is back at work again tomorrow and I need to think of finding something for our anniversary. I have no clue.
I also need to post a chocolate fondue fountain I sold on ebay. I wish I hadn't cos it only went for a fiver and now I fancy fondue. such is life. I also hate posting stuff.. It'll never fit in a Jiffy.
